Scott’s Top Rated Restaurants — West End Edition
Living in Toronto means never running out of places to eat—but it also means finding those rare spots you can’t stop thinking about.
The ones you recommend without hesitation. The ones you revisit even when you swore you’d try somewhere new. The ones that somehow feel both exciting and familiar every single time.
These are mine—and exactly why they’ve earned a permanent spot on my list.
Bar Isabel
If I had to pick one place I could eat at over and over again, it might be Bar Isabel.
It’s easily one of the best tapas experiences in the city—every dish is rich, intentional, and consistently incredible. It’s also one of those rare menus where you can order almost blindly and know it’s going to hit. I genuinely can’t go here enough.

Sakai Bar
Okay, I’ll admit it, I’m a little biased here. A good friend of mine owns this restaurant and I can’t even begin to describe how impressed I am by it.
The food is thoughtful, beautifully executed, and genuinely delicious. It’s one of those places where you can feel the care behind every detail, and that makes the experience even better.

The Takeaway
Toronto is full of great restaurants—but these are the ones that stick.
They’re not just about good food (though they all deliver on that). They’re about consistency, atmosphere, and that feeling you get when a place just gets it right.
And in a city where there’s always somewhere new to try, that says a lot.
