Neighbourhood Highlight: Liberty Village
Top 3 reasons we love Liberty!
CLOSEBY AMENITIES
Liberty Village could be a self-sustaining entity if its geographic boundaries were closed off from the rest of Toronto. With great grocery store options including Metro & Organic Garage, an LCBO, gym options including F45 and Altea and amazing restaurants and bars it’s an awesome spot to call home. Especially for those without a car or those who appreciate not having to get into a car every time they want to run an errand.
PRIME LOCATION
This community is very well connected to buses, streetcars, and the Exhibition GO stop. It’s also a quick car ride away from the Lakeshore and Gardiner. More than that, it’s a short walk to other fantastic Toronto neighbourhoods including King West, West Queen West, and Parkdale.
VIBRANT COMMUNITY and historic charm
The neighbourhood is welcoming and has a friendly atmosphere. There’s no shortage of fun things to do in your free time like take a walk down to the waterfront, watch a game at the BMO Field, see a concert at Budweiser Stage or check out the Ex. Formerly an industrial area, Liberty has done a good job of preserving it’s historic charm. You’ll see beautiful old brick buildings and factories that have since been converted into housing or commercial spaces while keeping the original charm intact.
Those are just a few reasons we love this pocket of the city. What do you think? Would you move to Liberty? Let us know!
